Coleman, Collins and Hatch on Filibusters

John Hinderaker at Power Line interviewed Senator Norm Coleman of Minnesota today:
He [Coleman] had a very clear message: President Bush's judicial nominees are going to get an up or down vote. All of them. I asked Senator Coleman point-blank whether he was telling our listeners that the Republicans have the votes to end the filibuster. Norm answered: "Yes, we've got the votes." To my knowledge, that's the most direct confirmation yet, by a Republican in a position to know, that the votes are there.
In other news, The Hill reports that:
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), a key centrist vote, said she thought a Democratic offer allowing a few circuit court judges to move and others to die was "very strange." [Sen.] Hatch also became the first Republican to describe publicly the exact way party leaders would proceed if they decide to go forward: by having the filibuster ruled to be "dilatory," as opposed to raising a so-called constitutional point of order. That would deny Democrats the ability to force a debate on the floor.
Sounds like things are moving.
