Could Gore's Endorsement Of Senate Democrat Tactics Be A Harbinger Of The Future Of The Judicial Debate?

It was noted below that Al Gore spoke on the issue of the judicial filibuster and the nomination process on Wednesday. Here is the transcript of his speech.

Whenever I see Al Gore make a high profile speech on any topic, I generally look for those he is siding with to soon go down in defeat. I can only hope that his recent speech is to the future of the judicial confirmation debate what his endorsement of Howard Dean was to Dean's presidential bid. For those with short memories, Al Gore endorsed Howard Dean and his anti-war platform in early December, 2003, just days before the capture of Saddam Hussein. If Republicans are lucky, his timing will prove just as good this time around.
