Confirmthem is pleased to provide two new resources, and they are both now listed on the upper right side of our page: a CRS Report, and a Texas Case: In re Jane Doe. Both are in searchable pdf format. The CRS Report is from the Congressional Research Service, and it's title is Changing Senate Rules: The "Constitutional" or "Nuclear" Option; this report was updated April 5, 2005 and the author is Betsy Palmer (the section titled "Alternative Proposal" starting on page 9 is particularly interesting). The Texas case, In re Jane Doe, is from 2000 and includes the opinions from Justice Priscilla Owen and then-Justice Alberto Gonzales that have caused such a ruckus.
