The Minority Leader Responds

Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid does not like the Frist compromise proposal:

"I would say for lack of a better description it's a big, wet kiss to the far right, ladies and gentlemen. It's just not appropriate," said Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, who called it a "slow-motion nuclear option" in reference to the Republican proposal to ban filibusters for judicial nominees.

At least the Minority Leader didn't call Sen. Frist the "Antichrist."

UPDATES: Power Line comments here. The LA Times reports here that Senator Obama will only accept a compromise if it makes "conservative activists" more "unhappy."
